Disneyland Trip Day 4

Today we started with Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. I was worried about Belle this morning lasting the day because she was obviously starting to become exhausted from the day after day of excitement. She was grumpy but quickly started to calm down and enjoyed herself.

The food at the restaurant was so-so but the decor was really neat. She got to meet more princesses and sit in air conditioning for awhile.

Ariel's Grotto was in the California park so after breakfast we hit Sorrin over California. A really cool ride! We did a few more rides in California and then headed back over to the main park.

Belle wanted to go to the Princess Fashion Fair. She's never been one for a lot of the princess stuff but this one looked fun to her so she wanted to go. It was a big stage area and by it was a store and sorta dress up area for the kids. You pay through the nose and get a dress and hair and make up done. Belle thankfully chose a dress that was actually a nightgown and therefore not as expensive. She picked it wisely because it was cooler then the others and as she put it "not as itchy." She then got her hair and make up done. All the time she's chatting up the guy doing her hair and he's just crackin up.
He calls over one of the Ladies in Waiting, named Elise, that are part of the show and she comes over and starts talking to Belle. Belle working her charm has her totally won over already. Elisa then whisked Belle off to see the show (with Daddy following of course).
By the time I got down to the stage with the wheelchair Belle was surrounded by all the ladies in waiting. It was hilarious... like a little princess with her entourage. All of them just lavished her with attention. It was so cute.
After the show Elisa came over and asked us if we could bring Belle back for the 4 o'clock show. If we could then afterwards Belle could come backstage and meet Lady Lillian (she's the main gal in the production). We of course told her we'd be there.

Between shows we took Belle to get some lunch at Pizza Planet. She was worried about getting her dress dirty and sure enough spilt chocolate milk all down the front. I took her to the bathroom and stripped it off and washed it out in the sink. It came out perfectly. She fretted that it was wet but I assured her that in this heat it would be dry before we got to the show.

We met up with Gaga, and the rest of the gang and went back to the Princess Fair. Belle was greeted with fan fair and Elisa sat and visited with Belle the entire time pre-show. You would have seriously thought that Belle was some celebrity guest!
They did the show and when Lady Lillian came on stage she even introduced to the crowd Belle! ... at first I thought she was referring to Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast but then I realized, no she was talking about my Belle! :)
After the show Belle and I went backstage and met Lady Lillian and visited with all the Ladies in Waiting. Belle was in full form and thoroughly entertained all of them.
It was hard to get Belle to leave afterwards. The irony of it all is that Belle... Miss Anti-Princess would later say that this was the best part of the entire trip... well... that and the Haunted Mansion. :) But I have to agree with her, this was an amazingly special time.

After the Fair we went back to our park riding. And finally it was getting late and we had to go, but not before hitting the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean rides one last time. :)
