Belle's birthday this year happened to land during the week of spring break. So we decided to do her at school part the friday before the break. She had been going nuts all week long waiting for it! I had promised her one present (2 if she got a full week of green balloons) on friday and so every day leading up to it she would beg for a present. :)Friday morning came and she was bouncing off the walls. I was a little worried for her. She had gotten green balloons every day at school and I was worried that her excitement would cause her to lose focus and possibly end up not getting a green simply because she was too worked up. BUT, I should have had more faith. :) My girl did great and got another green! She was so excited to see me when I showed up with the cupcakes. Actually all the kids were! You walk into a class full of 1st graders with cupcakes and treatebags and you find yourself surrounded! It's slightly frightening! :)
They sang to Belle and then all ate their cupcakes. They all had a good time I think and it seemed like a fun way to send them off to spring break. Belle was over the moon! She had so much fun.
