Derby Day Parade

Derby Day again. Our annual tradition. This was the first one we took Moya too. This year's theme was Aladdin. Belle was Aladdin, Mommy was Jasmine, Daddy was Genie, Gaga was Jaffar, and Moya was going to be Abu the monkey. Moya however fell asleep so she was spared the monkey outfit since Mommy didn't want to wake her to put her in it. :)

Belle rode her big girl bike this year and did a really good job!

After the parade we went and looked at the booths and I got my funnel cake.... yummy! Belle enjoyed it this year too. Nothing like totally fattening fried bread with powdered sugar!

Belle also got to partake in a demonstration for her Aikido school! She did really good and it was so cute watching her.

After lunch we hit the carnival. Belle was SOOO tired but not to tired for a few rides. She got to go on the Tilt-a-whirl for the first time and LOVED it. She was really barely tall enough but the guy let her go on it with Gaga and I anyway.

Belle also owes Moya a thank you. She was SOO good the entire time and we didn't have to leave anything early on her account. She slept during the parade and happily looked around during the booths and fair.
