The Playground!

Well we did it! We finally got the playground. Spent far to much and it dominates the yard. But honestly it is SOOO worth it. We got it for the girls but to be honest I love it too.

We had the guy from Rainbow come out and stake out a spot for it, then I called Wednesday to set up a time to have it installed. Brad and I decided to not tell Belle it was coming and let it be a surprise. She knew we were getting one but she didn't know when.

They got to the house around 10am on Thursday. I met them and we agreed with how the playground would face. Then they got to work. My mom sent me photos of it being built. And boy they were fast!

By the time I got home with Belle they were putting on the last board.
Belle was totally surprised. I had made her a bet that morning that by the end of the day she'd be saying "Best day ever!" She kept laughing at me about it saying that she wouldn't. Well I won that bet, although I guess I cheated. :)
On the way home I told her it was a nice day so Gaga was going to be in the backyard and we'd just walk around the house and meet her there. So we did, and all the time she's chattering about something. She saw Gaga and Moya and didn't even ask why Gaga was filming her with the camera (although she may just be use to us always having a camera in her face). She ran around the house and when she saw the playground she just stopped talking mid sentence and screamed! It was hilarious! Then she turns and says to me "Tell me... am I dreaming?!" I laughed and assured her it wasn't a dream.
She then asked the workman if it was done and he said done enough for her to play. She kissed him on the hand and thanked him over and over and then ran to play on it like a little crazy person!

We let her play on there from the time she got home from school to bed time. We even had dinner out on the picnic table. It was awesome. Moya tried out her swing... which she is far to little for at the moment. But it is there and ready for her when she gets bigger.
That night after we dragged her in she told Brad while he was reading to her "I don't know how to thank you and mommy!" So sweet. She then asked if she could eat breakfast out there. :)

I think the only problem with the playground is going to be getting Belle to come inside at night.
