First smile: Belle smiled almost from day one. I know some would say it's just gas but I disagree and actually so did my doctor who delivered Belle. She said in all her years she's seen a lot of babies and she knows the difference between gas and a smile. But, Belle really got good at smiling and laughing around 3 months.
I can't remember exactly what started her smile and laughing fest that has made me remember it being around 3 months, but it was some face I made. We were sitting on the sofa after a feeding and she just started cackling.
It was the most amazing sound in the world. The photos are from her second good laughing and smiling session close to the same time. Luckily this time we had a camera near by. Look at that face. :)
